FreeCAD is now the main 3D modeling tool at EIF-services.

But FreeCAD also offers to manage numerical simulations through various external tools that will work on the 3D geometries defined with FreeCAD; it also offers a visualization of the results !

To begin with, we engaged in a material resistance exercise, of which you will find a report there.

Then we will explore various possibilities in fluid mechanics:

• Elmer
• OpenFOAM

We then plan to test the FreeCAD→Basilisk communication, by exporting from FreeCAD because there is no workshop dedicated to Basilisk.
